Litter Management with Small and Backyard Poultry Flocks
Although flock size is small, chickens kept in backyards still produce a considerable amount of manure that needs to be managed. Litter is the term for the bedding material in a poultry house.  Alicia Halbritter, Extension Educator with the University of Florida Cooperative Extension Service, will discuss how to properly manage litter, both in and out of the house, in order to prevent odors and flies.
Pre-registration required.
