April is an exciting month for Extension staff, volunteers, and clientele. There is so much to see, do, and learn. Check out a few of the opportunities listed below.
If you are curious about what Extension is and all we have to offer, don't miss the opportunity to join us at our OSCERs night on April 17 from 5-6:30pm. The evening will feature a presentation on the benefits that NC Cooperative Extension in Currituck provided our citizens in 2022 and conclude with an open house complete with displays, giveaways and snacks.
This free event will be held at the Currituck Extension Center on 120 Community Way in Barco. Be sure to register through Eventbrite so that we can prepare for your visit.

Currituck ECA Scholarship |
The NC Extension and Community Association (ECA) was organized in 1920 to emphasize education, leadership, community and cultural activities for the improvement of homes and communities. Currituck ECA offers an annual scholarship for local students attending any NC College.

Area 4-H Livestock Show |
Youth livestock projects teach skills such as responsibility, accountability, math, science, entrepreneurship and food systems. Several Currituck 4-H members will be showing animals at the 77th Annual Albemarle Area 4-H Livestock Show and Sale. Come out and show your support!
