Let’s Talk About Dairy In 1937, June was declared National Dairy Month to promote dairy products. Dairy is an important part of our diet, giving us calcium for our bones and protein for our muscles. We need to thank the farmers, who work 365 days a year raising dairy cattle.

McDowell 4-H will be hosting Summer Thrive with McDowell 4-H on Saturday, June 17, 10 a.m. until noon at the Marion Community Park. McDowell 4-H has fun activities planned that will be focused around the 4 H’s–Head, Heart, Hands, & Health.
