We kicked summer off with 2 awesome science camps . Mad Scientist for our clover buds (ages 5-8) and STEM Camp for the older kids. We conducted science experiments, built and launched rockets, battled robots, built catapults, exploded watermelons, and had a ton of fun!  Check out some of the pictures from these two awesome camps!!

Eastern 4-H Center Camp
Alexander County youth had an awesome week of 4-H overnight camp on Bull's Bay in Columbia, NC.  Campers were able to experience all different activities and meet new friends.

South Central District Activity Day

Alexander County was represented by Garrett Jolly at District Activity Day held on Saturday, June 17 in Rowan County.  Garrett performed his Smokey Mountain Medley on the banjo and received a blue ribbon.  He was then asked to perform in front of everyone there for the awards ceremony.  Congratulations Garrett!

ALL 4-H members and volunteers MUST be enrolled in 4-H Online to participate in any programs or clubs that are provided by Alexander County 4-H.

If you have any questions regarding enrollment or need help with enrollment please contact DJ Salyer at 828-632-3125.  Again, no child or volunteer can participate in 4-H events without being enrolled.
