As the summer comes to a close, it's time to recognize and celebrate the remarkable achievements of our programs and anticipate the exciting opportunities that lie ahead in the fall. The participants in the Currituck County 4-H program have truly excelled in various areas, such as public speaking, horse shows, shooting sports, and earning scholarships. Their dedication and hard work have truly paid off, and we can't wait to share their success stories through upcoming celebration articles. Our agriculture programs have been instrumental in helping our clients navigate the challenges of the growing season. Family and Consumer Sciences programs have been teaching us invaluable skills in preserving the bounties from our gardens and preparing healthy meals. See below for some of the wonderful opportunities coming your way this fall. To stay up to date with all the latest information and upcoming events, be sure to visit our website and follow us on social media at @CurrituckCES. |

4-H Drone Zone |
Drone's were originally developed by the military to fly in small spaces where a helicopter can't go or where it is too dangerous to fly. They have quickly become popular with hobbyists. While there are a lot of drones designed especially for beginners, you still need skills to perform air stunts. Fly on over and sign up for our "4-H Drone Zone" classes where you will learn to program and fly a mini drone. |
