Last Chance Landscape Contractor CEU Day
These classes are all offered on a single day that we term as Last Chance CEUs. The 4 classes are stand alone and will give you the opportunity to choose those that you need to complete your CEU requirements before the end of July.
Testing Water Quality and Pesticide Compatiblity

Making sure that the water you use for your pesticide applications is as important as choosing the right products. Using incompatible products and poor quality water could negatively impact the pesticide application and result in ineffective applications or damaged crops.

The class includes a lab so bring a sample of the water you use to mix pesticides. Attendees will get samples of PPE or other items for their own use in the class and to take with them.

CREDITS EARNED
2 hours of NC Landscape Contractor CEUs in Category L (Technical Credits) has been approved for this class. It is also approved for 2 hours of NC Pesticide Credit in the following categories: A, B, D, G, H, I, K, L, N, O and X.

Chainsaw Safety

Heavy emphasis on chainsaw and tool safety will enhance the attendees ability to work safely and exhibit safe work habits to both clients and coworkers. Many time we in the green industry need a reminder as to the proper PPE that we need to wear to remain safe as we work. The class will also place emphasis on making sure that our co-workers and any by stander is also safe when chainsaws are used. This class is sponsored by OSHA and meets the standards required for safety training.
