Who does a 4-H Project Record Book?
All 4-Her's are welcome and encouraged to do this!!! The age divisions for competition are    5-7, 8-10,11-12,13-15, and 16-18.

Project books are required to go to some events like the annual Electric Congress.

Alexander 4-H held their annual  4-H Holiday Craft Workshop.  Participants were able to create some great holiday crafts to gift or take home and enjoy themselves this holiday season.  Check out the picture of the projects they completed.  This is always a fun day for staff and participants.  If you missed out this year make sure to look for the date advertised for next year.  We always hold this event the day before Thanksgiving.
Soil Solutions - over the past several weeks Alexander County 4-H has offered a program to the 5th grade classes in the county to learn about soil science. This program is very hands-on and fun, we learn how to use a key to determine what type of soil we are working with as well as complete an observation report.  Below are a few picture of what students look like during these observations.
