Growing Success: A Workshop on Season Extension


As the farming community continues to innovate and adapt, the upcoming Season Extension Workshop on February 26 at 6 p.m., County Services Building, 60 East Court Street, Marion, aims to explore the numerous methods and benefits of extending the growing season.  There will also be presentations about the USDA High Tunnel Initiative.

Organic & Small-Farm Presentations at Winter Vegetable Conference

The Winter Vegetable Conference held in Asheville every year is a long-running event.  There is a new educational track focused on small/mid-sized and organic/regenerative/naturally grown farmers.  It's a great learning opportunity.
