VLA's next meeting will be April 2nd at 6:30 pm at the Guilford County Office. Any adults who wish to support 4-H are welcome to attend.

NEW! EmpowerED Teens Workshop Series
Join us for this exciting new workshop series for teens! We'll cover topics like resume building, digital safety, and professional skills, and the series will end with a community service project in June (date TBD).

Dinner will be provided on March 21st. Registration is required. You must be 14-18 years old to participate (age as of January 1, 2024). All registered participants MUST be enrolled in 4-HOnline before March 21st. Questions? Email Meredith.

Calling all dog lovers! Transform your beloved pet's photo into a work of art. Bring your passion for pets and artistry to the table and submit your designs to compete in the 2nd Annual 4-H Dog Artistic Expressions Competition. Dog ownership not required!

NC State Livestock Science Camp

The NC State Livestock Science Camp is designed for high school students aged 15-18. During the camp, youth will engage with NC State students, faculty, and staff to explore animal science and learn more about the livestock and agricultural industries and related careers. No previous livestock species experience is necessary.

Our Ag Future, an NC Chamber of Commerce initiative aimed at preserving North Carolina's agricultural heritage and empowering farmers, is launching a photo contest called "Our Ag Perspective."

Eligibility & Age Categories:
Seedlings: Ages 5-11
Sprouts: Ages 12-17

The top three photos in each category will be awarded a cash prize ($200 for first, $100 for second, and $50 for third). The deadline for photo submissions is April 3rd.
