New Opportunity -
Beef & Livestock Club! |
Does your child enjoy learning about livestock species including beef, goats, poultry, swine and sheep? If so, we have an exciting new opportunity! The Yancey County 4-H Beef & Livestock Club will provide opportunities for youth to learn about livestock species through hands-on livestock projects AND skillathon competitions where youth can learn about livestock anatomy, breeds, meat processing and more! Youth DO NOT have to own an animal to participate in this club. Join us for our first meeting of the year on Tuesday, March 12th at 6:00pm at the Yancey Senior Center to learn more. Open to youth ages 8-18. |
