Small Ruminant Monthly Newsletter

April 2024

Spring Edition Newsletter

In this newsletter I wrote about the upcoming Small Ruminant Workshop that will be held April 27th at the WNC Livestock Center. This is a great opportunity for producers to come and learn more about small ruminants. The NC State Small Ruminant, Extension Specialist Andrew Weaver will be speaking at the workshop. A small animal sale will follow concluding the workshop. Also, attached are some great webinars that are coming up and some that have passed but the recordings are posted if you are interested.

The next Small Ruminant Club meeting will be April 30th at 6 pm at the NC Cooperative Extension Center (60 East Court Street, Marion). Please RSVP by April 25th.

If you have any questions or comments please feel free to call the office and speak with the Livestock Agent, Skyler Murray or email me at skyler_murray@ncsu.edu.
