What is Empowering Mountain Food Systems? EmPOWERing Mountain Food Systems (EMFS) is a project launched in 2019 to focus on expanded opportunities & capacity for food and farm businesses across the western NC region.

Greylan Kellogg Wins Big at West District Activity Day!
On Friday, June 14, youth from all over the western district met at Western Carolina University for the 2024 West District 4-H Activity Day. Greylan Kellogg from McDowell presented on “How to be a Doctor in Rural North Carolina”.
