Bridging the Digital Divide: Senior Planet Program


N.C. Cooperative Extension-McDowell County Center is launching a new program to help older adults learn new skills, save money, get in shape, and make new friends. In partnership with Senior Planet, a national nonprofit which harnesses technology to change the way older Americans age, NCCE-McDowell Center will be offering classes and workshops about technology, health and wellness, and socialization.

Shelton Leadership Forum Viewing Party

NCCE-McDowell Center is partnering with the Shelton Leadership Center at NC State to host a viewing party for the 2024 Shelton Leadership Forum. This year’s Forum theme is “Multigenerational Teams: Building a Collaborative Culture,” and will be streamed live on October 18.
