The results are in! The winners of the 2024 Currituck County Holiday Ornament Contest were revealed at the annual Holiday Tree Lighting and Parade on Friday night. This year’s theme, “Christmas Around the World,” challenged participants to blend diverse holiday traditions with Currituck’s own cherished symbols and traditions in their ornament designs.

The winners, selected from a pool of talented entrants, are:

First Place: Eli B. with “The Perfect Little Christmas Barn”
Second Place: Kinsley P. with “Santa Around the World”
Third Place: Noah B. with “From Trees to Languages”
Honorable Mentions:
- Emma H. with “Best of the Beach”
- Bryce E. with “Christmas in Currituck”
- Emerald C. with “Gingerbread Boy Present”

Each design captures the spirit of the season while showcasing the beauty of cultural exchange and community pride. Ornaments are available for purchase with proceeds benefiting the Currituck Extension Foundation at currituckef.printify.me.
