NC farmers whose tools or equipment were damaged by TS Helene may be eligible for disaster assistance. FEMA aid is available to replace disaster-damaged essential tools, supplies, equipment & items required for your job or self-employment. The deadline to apply is January 7. The Disaster Recovery Center is still open at the lower level of the Senior Center until Jan 7.
The USDA NRCS is offering financial assistance through the 2025 EQIP Hurricane Helene Assistance to support producers affected by Hurricane Helene in WNC. Applications are being accepted until January 10, 2025.

Although the temperatures are frigid, it is time to plan for summer 2025. We have our camp dates at Betsy Jeff Penn 4-H Camp. We will be attending July 6-11. Residential camp is for 4-Hers 8-14 years old.
