August Agriculture Trainings
August presents a narrow window for agriculture meetings to be conducted before corn harvest sets into high gear in Camden County. In August a Wheat Production Meeting, Pesticide Safety "V" Training, and Saltwater Intrusion meeting was offered. Twenty-six participants attended these August agriculture events.
4-H Youth Development
The Artist In You
Five (5) youth unleashed their inner artist at a 4-H art class held on August 4th. While participating youth created art projects that they could enter into the NC State Fair this Fall.
Getting Teachers & Students Involved!
Thirty (30) staff at Camden Middle School were given a presentation on JCPC programs available in Camden County.  Seventy-five (75) students at Camden Early college were given a presentation on the benefits of Teen Court and were invited to participate as youth volunteers for the 21-22 school year.
Treasure Point 4-H Camp Outdoor Theater-October 29th
We have rescheduled our movie originally scheduled for June. So come enjoy a movie on the lawn at Treasure Point 4-H Camp (123 Treasure Point Road, Camden)! On Friday, October 29, 2021. Family & Consumer Sciences
On-Demand Class A Success

The On-Demand Food Preservation Series has 183 participants. Participants who review the content and complete the evaluation are entered into a drawing for a digital ball blue book. In last year’s on-demand food preservation series 80% of those who responded to the evaluation stated they felt comfortable preserving food safely.
