YOUTH EVENTS

Runway 4-H Fashion Revue-Wearable Outfit or Garment

Who may participate?

This competition is for youth that want to show off their sewing skills by making something that they can wear. That might be a dress, blouse and a skirt, pj pants, apron, etc. Here are some of the main things you need to keep in mind for this competition. Each county may send their three top winners in the age divisions of 8-13 and 14-18 to this competition. However, each county may send as many Cloverbud participants as they please. Many people ask, "Do I have to have a competition in my county for this district event?" The answer is no, you do not. In Yadkin County, we do not have a large group of kids that sew, so I set my deadline as the district deadline because I would be lucky to have two in the competition. So please do what is best for your county as far as registering for this competition. An interview will be required for this category and the date will be coming out for that soon (the Google Doc letter will have the date added by the end of the week).
