The session will be held as a listening forum to gather input on ways to strengthen digital inclusion efforts in our community. Dinner will be provided for all participants.

4-H Embryology is underway! Second graders are working hard to learn the life cycle and hatching baby chickens. We have set eggs from Biltmore Farms and are expecting a wonderful hatch. After the hatch is complete, we will be offering the baby chicks for sale to the public on May 16.
McDowell County youth have an exciting opportunity to get hands-on agricultural experience through the 2025 4-H Pullet Project. This project allows young people to purchase baby chicks, raise them responsibly, and showcase their hard work during the McDowell Junior Livestock Show, on August 1–2.
