Kids in the Kitchen Camp |
|
Does your child love to help in the kitchen? In this camp, youth will learn about living a healthy lifestyle, including nutrition, physical activity, kitchen safety and cooking skills, all while making some yummy treats! Open to youth ages 9-18.
There are two identical sessions offered for this camp. Please only register for one!

We are excited to announce a new 4-H Community Club starting up in Buncombe County! The Ridgecrest 4-H Club will have their first meeting on July 10th at 6:00 p.m. This club is FREE to join and is open to youth ages 5-18 in Buncombe County! |

4-H News: Buncombe County 4-H'er Competes at National 4-H Shooting Sports Competition |
|
We would like to congratulate the North Carolina 4-H Teams who participated in the 2025 National 4-H Shooting Sports competition, June 22-27th in Grand Island, Nebraska. Buncombe County 4-H'er, Ayden Plemmons, represented Buncombe County well on the Rifle team. The team placed 7th in the Nation for CMP and 8th for small bore rifle silhouette. Congratulations to Ayden for her accomplishments, you make Buncombe County 4-H proud! |

2025 NC Mountain State Fair - Register Now! |

Registration is now open for the 2025 NC Mountain State Fair, September 5th-14th! Entries can be submitted for General Exhibits, Livestock Exhibits and Livestock Competitions.
Youth and adults can submit entries for General Exhibits on a wide variety of items including canned goods, baked goods, horticultural products, photography and so much more! Visit the link below to learn about all of the categories. |

2025 Summer Fun Program |

Buncombe County 4-H is excited to offer a wide variety of summer learning opportunities for youth in 2025! We have 10 different day camps and other opportunities for youth ages 5-18 during the months of June - August. Space is limited for each camp, so register today to reserve your spot! |

Buncombe County 4-H is currently seeking passionate adult volunteers to assist in implementing the following 4-H programs: STEM & Electricity, Cooking and Sewing classes. The time commitment is flexible with your schedule and you will be making a lasting positive impact on kids in your community!
Volunteers are the key to success in the Buncombe County 4-H program. Whether you’re interested in starting a club and becoming a club leader or just have a few hours to invest, we have challenging and fun jobs for adults who want to make a difference in the lives of Buncombe County youth!
