We are thrilled to introduce you all to our newest team member, Erin Murphy! Erin will serve as Currituck’s Family and Consumer Sciences (FCS) Program Assistant focusing on Medicare Counseling and community health and
wellness.
Erin completed her Associate in Applied Science with a concentration in Health Sciences from Blue Ridge Community College. She is also a certified fitness instructor and is passionate about health and wellness throughout life.

2025 Currituck County ECA Scholarship |
Every year the Currituck County Extension and Community Association Scholarship is awarded to a deserving high school senior. This year's recipient is Currituck County High School's Savannah J Banks. A three-sport athlete excelling in volleyball, softball, and basketball, Savannah has demonstrated exceptional dedication and leadership on and off the field. Beyond athletics, Savannah has been an active and engaged member of the community. She was a member of 4-H and has volunteered her time at YMCA summer camps, serving as a mentor and role model for younger children. Congratulations, Savannah!
