4-H Market Lamb Club

It is show time.  Macon County lambs started their season off with the Swain County fair and will show this month at the Mountain State Fair. We will also show at the Macon County Fair on September 18th and the Haywood County Fair later in the month.
We will meet on Thursday Septermber 11th for our last practice before the Macon Fair. Our show at the Macon County Fair will be Thursday September 18th at 6:00pm.  Come join us and enjoy the costume contest.

Macon 4-H Beekeepers

It's time to get your honey!  Each year our Macon 4-H Beekeepers sell honey to raise money for their hives.  They make great gifts for your family and friends (or for yourself)! The cost is $15 and goes directly to our Beekeeper club.  Get yours while they last.

Fluffy Feathers 4-H Club

We need your help!!  Farm Bureau is hosting a fun kids farm relay during Wednesday and Thursday during the fair.  Make sure to go by and get your name on the speed board.  One of the obstacles is to "gather eggs".  Please come help us at the Cooperative Extension Office on Tuesday September 9th at 5:30.  We are going to decorate the nesting boxes and egg obstacles.
