Happy National 4-H Week! This week is a special time to celebrate and promote 4-H within our community! I'd like to give a shout out to all of our 4-H'ers and 4-H volunteers who make our 4-H program thrive!
This newsletter is a little delayed due to my crazy schedule, but is full of 4-H opportunities, save the dates, and upcoming deadlines. There are TONS of flyers in this newsletter highlighting upcoming opportunities, so take time to look at
them.
Make sure to click "view entire message" at the end because there's more opportunities to see!

West Rowan 4-H Explorers 4-H Club report By: Milas Calvert, Reporter
On September 25, the West Rowan 4-H Explorers 4-H Club participated in their annual community service project. Club members cleaned the West Rowan Volunteer Fire Department. WRVFD generously allows the club to meet at the station, and they wanted to say, "thank you".
(The West Rowan 4-H Explorers Club meets on the second Tuesday of every month. Their club
activities are based around STEM projects.)

Rowan 4-H Volunteer Reporting for 2025
If you are registered as a 4-H Volunteer in 4-HOnline it is super important that you report your hours and contacts! This greatly assists Laura with her Extension reports every year, since your hours and contacts must be reported!
Please go to go.ncsu.edu/2025rowan4hvolunteercontacts and complete your
reports. Reports are due 10 days after the end of each month (January contacts due by Feb. 10). Email reminders will be sent to those who should be completing reports. It should only take about 5 minutes!
