Thank You Veterans! November is a month of deep gratitude, for the veterans who have served our great nation and for the farmers who provide the harvest in securing food and resources before the onset of cold weather. With Veterans Day on November 11th, Americans pause to honor the brave men and women who have served in our military. Whether it’s a veteran you know personally or heroes you’ll never meet, Veterans Day is a chance to reflect, remember, and show gratitude. This month is a call to action for communities to support both those who feed us and those who protect us.

"If you ate today, thank a farmer.
If it's on your table, thank a trucker.
If you eat in peace, thank a veteran" |

 HAPPY THANKSGIVING

Cooperative Extension wishes you and your family a safe, healthy, and happy Thanksgiving! As we gather around the table, we pause to celebrate our communities, acknowledge the blessings we share, and express our deepest gratitude to the farmers and producers who work tirelessly to provide the food for our feast. |

An interdisciplinary team at NC State has launched BeanPACK 2.0, an updated version of their dynamic grower decision support tool for soybean producers. BeanPACK aids in making data-driven decisions regarding soybean planting date and maturity group selection for different regions of North Carolina.
The improvements in version 2.0 include the integration of ~15,000 data points from the NC State Official Variety Testing Program and enhanced mobile useability, addressing key feedback from beta-testers. |
