EVA Supports Backpack Buddies

For over a decade, the Granville County Extension Volunteer Association (EVA) has helped support the local Backpack Buddy Program, through partnerships with ACIM - Area Congregations in Ministry Food Pantry and a variety of funding partners. This year, we are happy to be receiving grant funding from the Alliance for a Healthier Generation and Novo Nordisk so that we can continue to do our part to provide weekly backpacks full of food to roughly 40 students at C.G. Credle Elementary. Also, we were able to purchase items to stuff bags full of all kinds of nutrition educational materials.
