The District 4-H Volunteer Leaders Associations’ of NC 4-H recently held their annual fall days! Across the state, each of the five District 4-H VLAs held their own fall events, bringing together volunteers for a day of learning, connection, and celebration. Each fall day had a unique variety of workshops and networking opportunities, in addition to holding officer elections to determine the next selection of volunteers to serve on the District 4-H VLA officer teams for the upcoming year. These events not only provided valuable learning experiences that volunteers could take back to their counties, but also celebrated the dedication of volunteers who continue to strengthen 4-H across North Carolina.
Did you know that all approved 4-H volunteers enrolled in 4-HOnline are automatically members of the 4-H Volunteer Leaders Association? This means they can attend events like these in their district and also take part in the State 4-H Volunteer Leaders Conference, which will be held Jan. 30–Feb. 1, 2026. Visit nc4h.ces.ncsu.edu/nc4h-volunteers to learn more.
