Thank You to Everyone Who Helped with the 2025 4-H Christmas Parade Float
Every year I think we have to say the same thing but...this was the best Christmas Parade Float ever! Thank you to all of our 4-Her, families and parents that worked to help us build benches, wrap decorations and run up the road passing out candy.

4-H Gingerbread Man Decorating Contest
Our 4-H Chefs Invite You to Join us and show off your decorating skills

Tuesday December 16th from 3:45 - 5:00.  Decorating supplies will be provided.   We will meet at the Cooperative Extension Office kitchen.  Schedule:
3:45 Check in, get your materials - start decorating
4:45 Judging by our community volunteer judges
5:00 Awards Ceremony - parents welcome to attend

Club Corner
Macon Mountain Goats 4-H Club

The Goat Club attended the Cowee Christmas the first weekend in December and took animals for people to take pictures with.  They raised money for their club and service projects.
Macon Archers

This month we will move inside to the fairgrounds shooting range.  If you would like to help set up the range, we will be working at the fairgrounds on Thursday December 11th starting around 4pm.  Please come help us set up the indoor range.   We will shoot on December 11th and December 18th at 5:00pm  

Macon Sharp Shooters
Indoor air rifle practice will begin on December 8th at 5:30. We will also combine this practice with WHEP (Wildlife Habitat Educational Project) activities.  This month we will look at Wildlife in the Winter.  Shooting practice is open to youth 9-18.

Macon 4-H Beekeepers
We are taking sign up for the 2026 season. Our first organizational meeting will be in January with a fun wax bowl project.  If your family is interested in joining this group for the 2026 season, please call or email Tammara at 349-2226 or tammara_cole@ncsu.edu

Sassy Stitchers

Beginners met on December 4th to make holiday sewn gifts and Advanced will meet on December 18th to continue working on their clothing items.  Beginners will start the new year on January 8th.
