Alexander County 4-H
Newsletter

                                                January 2026
From the 4-H Agent, DJ Salyer

As we welcome a new year, I want to wish all of our 4-H members, families, and volunteers a happy, healthy, and successful January. The start of a new year is a perfect time to reflect on our accomplishments and look ahead to exciting opportunities.

Alexander County 4-H is off to a strong start in 2026, with engaging programs, hands-on learning experiences, and meaningful leadership opportunities planned throughout the year. Whether you are a returning member or considering joining 4-H for the first time, there is truly something for everyone.

January is a great time to set goals, try new projects, and get involved in a club that sparks your interests. Our dedicated volunteers and club leaders work hard to create welcoming environments where youth can learn, grow, and thrive.

Be sure to read through the full newsletter for important dates and upcoming events, and continue to follow the Alexander County 4-H Facebook page for updates throughout the month.

Thank you for being part of our 4-H family. I look forward to another year of growth, learning, and success together.

Sincerely,

DJ Salyer
4-H Agent, Alexander County
