SPOTLIGHT ON SUCCESS!

Durant Road Middle School SET Program

Wake County 4-H Teen Council

Wake Out-of-School Time Network

Durant Road Middle School partnered with Wake County 4-H SET, the Food Security Department, and a local Home Depot to install mini food pantries on campus to support students and families. This collaboration is already inspiring interest in expanding mini food pantries to additional schools in the future.

“Last October, Congresswoman Deborah Ross visited the Wake County 4-H Teen Council and graciously shared her journey with our members. The council had an incredible opportunity to ask her questions and gain invaluable advice as they learned about her career path and story!” - Julianne Waters, 4-H Teen Council Officer

The Wake County OST Network has launched a free, county-wide, searchable database where families and providers can explore program locations, activities, costs, and age ranges.
