4-H Youth Development
Goal Setting, Life Skills and Fishing
Fourteen (14) youth in the FOCUS (Fostering Originality Character Understanding and Success) group met weekly in school and at the Camden County Library to learn life skills. Seven (7) youth in FOCUS went fishing at Treasure Point.
Camden County Teen Court
Thirteen (13) youth participated in our first Teen Court meeting. Youth learned more about the court system and participated in a mock trial. Teen Court provides a hands-on learning experience for student volunteers to be part of our justice system. It also provides an alternative system of justice where juvenile offenders are given the option to plead their case before a jury of their peers who can provide constructive sentencing.
Family & Consumer Sciences
Online & On-Demand Programs a Success The online Self-Care Challenge launched on September 13th with 29 participants. When this program was launched last year 100% of participants noted they would continue with the self-care practices after the program concluded.
