2026 Fermentation Series
Learn the basics of safe, home food fermentation in our upcoming virtual Fermentation Series. Participants will explore how to prepare kimchi, kombucha, sauerkraut, and yogurt while gaining practical food safety guidance.
2026 Canning Classes
2026 canning classes are open for registration. Come learn the art of preserving foods through canning. As a participant you'll learn the process and the food safety steps to can food safely through an engaging hands on class at the Extension Center. Go ahead and claim your seat in a class before they fill up.

The mission of Trotter Active Adult Center is to provide diverse, year-round programs, activities and services that meet the physical, social, mental and cultural needs of active adults in Greensboro and Guilford County. Some of the features are a fitness room, computer lab, gymnasium, and many awesome classes. It's also located adjacent to Hester Park.
