Celebrate National 4-H Week
October 3-9, 2021

Join us in celebrating 4-H during National 4-H Week! The flyer below includes all of the events/activities available during the week. I also encourage you to promote & advertise 4-H on your social media platforms and by talking with friends and family about this wonderful organization!

Volunteers: Register for this event in 4-HOnline!

I hope all of my wonderful 4-H Volunteers will come to this drop-in celebration! Please login to your 4HOnline account and click on "events" and find this event in the system. Please register! This is a new registration process for 4-H that I am trying out and have to do for 4-H compliance...plus it will allow me to see who is coming! Contact Laura if you need help registering!
Paper Clover Week at Tractor Supply
October 6-17, 2021

It's time for Paper Clover Week! Please encourage your friends and family to donate to 4-H as the Salisbury Tractor Supply location. Rowan County 4-H receives 90% of the donations at that store, with state and national 4-H receiving the remaining 10% of donations. We still are not allowed to have youth in the store collecting money, so please help spread the word to encourage folks to give!
Upcoming 4-H Programs/Events
In order to participate, you must first enroll in 4-HOnline (if you are not already enrolled). Once you are accepted, then you will go back into 4-HOnline. “View” your profile and then click “events” on the left toolbar menu. Once you click on events, click the blue “register for a new event” button and then select the name of the event you want to register for. Once you complete the process (a few clicks) you will be registered! This method of registration is now required for all upcoming 4-H programs. If you need help, please call or email Laura.
Clubs can participate in this service project to cover their annual club service project requirement. Clubs will need to collect items from members and/or place a collection box at a local business, church, etc. to collect items.

Community members are welcome to participate!

Please note before reading 4-H Wreath Sale flyer:
Since our pick-up date was so close to Christmas last year, we have made it much earlier this year to help meet your decorating needs. To keep your greenery fresh for as long as possible, make sure to soak it overnight (greenery side down) in a tub full of cool water on the day you pick it up. Keep it in a cool location until you hang it. Purchase an empty spray bottle and fill it with cool water and spray your greenery every day. If possible, keeping it out of sunlight or away from heat vents helps to prolong life as well. We often have customers who pick up wreaths in December and then tell us they lasted until February or March, so if you care for yours properly it should last!
