Family Night Out: Pasta Making
Join FCS Agent Vincent Webb to learn how to can tomatoes.
Canning is a safe, economical way to preserve quality food at home. Canning interrupts the normal spoiling and decaying cycle of food. This workshop will focus on the water bath canning technique. Participants will learn how to safely prepare a tomato product and can them using the water bath canning technique.

In partnership with Good Will's On The Go Mobile Unit, Tech for Vets provides hands-on coaching to access VA benefits, set up VA accounts, navigate platforms, and learn about training and services.

2026 Virtual Fermentation Series:
Kombucha
Kombucha is a lightly effervescent, cider-like beverage made by fermenting sweetened tea. It is produced using a starter culture of bacteria and yeasts called a SCOBY (Symbiotic Colony of Bacteria and Yeast). In this session, we'll teach participants how to safely brew and bottle kombucha, as well as how to care for their SCOBY.

We’ve launched our seasonal Free Little Library inside the Cooperative Extension Office to share the love of reading and learning. Come and check out some of the books that others have donated, or donate some of the books that overflow from your library.

Parks and Recreation: Trotter Active Adult Center
The mission of Trotter Active Adult Center is to provide diverse, year-round programs, activities and services that meet the physical, social, mental and cultural needs of active adults in Greensboro and Guilford County. Some of the features are a fitness room, computer lab, gymnasium, and many awesome classes. It's also located adjacent to Hester Park.
