Basic Beekeeping Class
The Davidson County Beekeepers Association will be hosting a Basic Beekeeping Class for Beginners and Inquiring Minds. These classes will be hosted at the Cooperative Extension Office, 301 E. Center St., Lexington.

Classes will take place on January 8th and January 15th from 9 am - 12 noon. These introductory classes will cover the basics of beekeeping including equipment and hive components, the colony and its organization, and how to manage your colonies. These two introductory classes will be free to attend.

For those wanting further information, there will be a series of additional classes where a prospective beekeeper can work toward certification, get in-depth knowledge of beekeeping, meet vendors, and be assigned a beekeeping mentor. For additional information, please visit
davidsoncountybeekeepers.org. To reserve your seat, email davidsonncba@gmail.com or call 336-242-2080.
