"Grow With Us" Spring 2022 - Free Virtual Gardening Classes

Want to know how to get the most from your vegetable garden – or maybe just grow a few herbs and flowers? Want to have a nice landscape but spend less time and money on it? For 2022, the Extension Master Gardener volunteers will be offering these classes available online to the public. Feel free to sign up for as many classes as you like!

All classes will be held from 6–7 p.m. using Zoom. You will receive the Zoom link for your session upon registration.

Guilford Gardener & Master Gardener Courses

There will be a spring series of classes called Guilford Gardener Course and the Master Gardener℠ classes will be in the fall. Register for a January 2022 Info Session to learn more about the two programs. Guilford Gardener classes will begin in February 2022.

*You must attend an Info Session in order to qualify for the Guilford Gardener Course and the NC State Extension Master Gardener℠ Program.


The Guilford Gardener is a 6-week course that will cover everything from planning your garden, choosing the right plants, soils to pest management. Classes will be taught Wednesday mornings only. No horticulture experience necessary! There is no volunteer commitment. Program fee is $50 per individual or $75 per couple. All classes will be held in the NC Cooperative Extension, Guilford County Center, 3309 Burlington Rd.

Are you are interested in becoming a Master Gardener℠ volunteer?  The 8-week course will cover everything from botany, diseases, lawns to weeds. Classes will be offered only on Wednesday mornings. There is a volunteer commitment. Program fee is an additional $70 per individual. All classes will be held in the NC Cooperative Extension, Guilford County Center, 3309 Burlington Rd.
