May Is National Salsa Month

May has been declared National Salsa Month! Salsa is usually a tomato based recipe with onions, peppers and spices mixed in. But, any fresh fruit or vegetable can be turned into salsa. It doesn’t have to be spicy to be considered a salsa. Many recipes use fresh fruits as a refreshing change in taste.
