It’s very important that the method you use to preserve your food, especially canned foods, is done correctly to prevent spoilage. If you plan on pressure canning this summer, be sure your pressure canner is in good shape and equipped to do the job. Contact FCS Agent, Kim Terrell, to have your dial gauge tested on your canner for FREE!

It is with sadness that NCCE Clay County Center announces the resignation of Lisa Gonzalez, CED & Agriculture Agent. Lisa joined our team in 2020 and has been instrumental in providing support and education to improve the lives of those in Clay County. Her inspiring leadership has not only left a lasting impression on us, but on the citizens of Clay County as well. While we will miss her and her vision and passion for Extension, we wish her the best of luck in her new endeavors!
