Thanks to organizers & supporters of our annual fundraisers,
Summer Blast programming is FREE for Stanly kids 5-18.  No-shows ruin the fun and are highly discouraged. Signing up & not showing up could affect your child's eligibility for future 4-H activities.  To make sure everyone has a chance to get in on the fun of Summer Blast, make it a point to ONLY sign up for the sessions you know for sure your child will attend and let us know ASAP if emergency circumstances should arise.

Everything You Need to Know

What is Summer Blast?

The Summer Blast Program is the only one of its kind in Stanly County.  It's a series of youth educational programs offered during the summer by Extension Agents and community partners.  What makes Summer Blast unique in our community is that it is offered to all 4-H members free of charge, and each program in the series is either taught by an Extension Agent in their area of expertise or by a subject matter expert from the local community.

It's free?  How?

Summer Blast is free for any and all 4-H'ers 5-18 years of age.  Cooperative Extension is only able to offer these programs at no cost because of the folks who organize and support our annual fundraisers like the Holiday Greenery Sale, Spring Fruit Plant Sale, Paper Clover sales at Tractor Supply, and donations to our year-round Clover Contribution Campaign.

Where do I find registration and program details?

We will be using the 4-HOnline system for sign-ups this year.  All registration and program details are listed here: https://stanly.ces.ncsu.edu/summer-blast/
