Congratulations to the Participants of District Activity Day!
Last month, we had 8 Durham 4-H members compete in the North Central District Activity Day held at A&T. All of the participants came well prepared and were knowledgeable on the topics they choose. We even had 5 participants who won a gold or silver medal and will be competing in the State Presentations later this month!
 
 
Durham 4-H at Eastern Center Overnight Camp!
A few weeks ago, we took 17 campers to overnight camp . This was Durham County's first time visiting the Eastern Center. During the week we spent there, the campers made long lasting memories. From learning how to crab in the lake to climbing a high ropes course, these campers sure came back with a lot of stories to share! Keep your eyes our for overnight camp registration 2025 coming after the new year!
 
 
Durham Juntos Goes to Academy!
In June, our Juntos Coordinator took 15 high school students to particpate in the annual Juntos Academy hosted at NC State. The students were able to connect with current college students and get more information on what college has to offer!

Free Summer Meals Program!
SUN Bucks is a new summer food assistance program. It gives families $120 in food benefits per eligible child. Benefits will be issued on current EBT cards or mailed on a new EBT card. More details are included on the images on the left and in the link below!
